Integrative and the Network will stress the importance of health and not health care delivery. People will finally be given the opportunity to participate in creating life time personalized health manage programs designed to serve as a guide for life long health endeavors to reach optimal health goals. It is obvious to Dr. McCune that the health gap being experienced by people of African ancestry will never be eliminated unless the people take it upon themselves to improve their health. What is being discussed in public debate includes the access, availability quality and cost of health care delivery. What is needed is a commitment to and the discipline for optimum health by the people of African ancestry. The guide for optimum health for the people of African ancestry is clearly outlined in the Old Testament and other parts of the bible.
As an Independent Emergency Department Physician, Dr. McCune is acutely aware of
the problems facing the population as they seek health improvement and the
mistakes being made in this endeavor. He foresees a total meltdown of the
present system if it is not recreated with new emphasis and priorities
established. People must now become the center of the system and not
institutions, money and technology.
